Medical Staff Opportunities at Camp This Summer
Consider spending a week, a weekend, occasional overnight shifts, or even the whole summer with us as part of the camp medical staff.
Our Medical Staff are RNs, CRNPs, PAs, or physicians.
These licensed medical staff are often parents of campers who come for all or part of their child's session. Medical Staff can receive camp credit to offset some or all of their campers' tuition, or they can elect to be paid outright.
Each week of camp, two licensed medical staff work with our three full-summer medical assistants to provide medication administration and first aid to our campers and staff.
Meals and air-conditioned housing are provided.
Please note that physicians and PAs must be licensed in Maryland. Nurses and CRNPs can be from any state.
There are a variety of time commitment options including:
Full Week - $3200 - Sunday 2 PM thru Friday 6 PM (~80 hours plus one night on call)
Half Week - $1600 - Sunday 2 PM thru Wednesday 10:30 AM -OR- Wednesday 9:30 AM thru Friday 6 PM (~40 hours plus one night on call)
Weekend Shift* - $1000 - Friday 6 PM thru Sunday 9 AM (~20 hours plus two nights on call)
Weekend Shift and Sunday Amusement Park Trip* - $1400 - Friday 6 PM thru Sunday 10 PM (~38 hours plus one night on call)
Saturday Night and Sunday Amusement Park Trip* - $800 - Saturday 8 PM thru Sunday 10 PM (~18 hours plus one night on call)
**NEW** Overnight Shift - $275 per night - 8 PM thru 9 AM (sleep at camp and be on call) - options available for all nights except Friday. Minimum of 4 nights over the course of the summer for first-time medical staff. Nights do not need to be consecutive. (~5 hours plus one night on call)
Sunday Check-In - $250 - 3 PM thru 10 PM
Longer term options of 2, 4, and 8 weeks also available
Medical Administrator - Full-time, seasonal (late-May thru mid-August), primarily a virtual/work-from-home position. In-person required for Sunday check-ins for the 8 weeks of camp.
